Dr. Matthew Campbell received his medical degree from the University of Washington before completing residency in psychiatry at Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center. He further continued his studies by completing a fellowship in addiction psychiatry. As a board-certified psychiatrist he works with adults to create a personalized, evidence-based treatment plan that utilizes the most up to date and effective interventions. He specializes in the treatment of addictions and behavioral changes along with disorders of anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD,) bipolar, schizophrenia, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD.) This is in addition to working through adjustments to life transitions and family issues.
Dr. Campbell compassionately integrates psychotherapy and psychopharmacology for holistic treatment. He believes quality psychiatric care requires time, exemplified by offering 60 minute initial evaluations and 30 minute follow up appointments. This ensures that he can fully understand what brings you to treatment, alongside your values and goals. It is with this understanding that he will help personalize a treatment plan and work alongside you to ensure you get there.
