Chiedozie Ojimba, MD

Chiedozie Ojimba, MD, is board-certified in general psychiatry and neurology and board-eligible in addiction psychiatry. He provides expert care to patients at NYC Psychiatric Associates, located in the Murray Hill neighborhood of Manhattan, New York.

Dr. Ojimba received his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Ilorin in Nigeria. He attended the University of Wolverhampton in the United Kingdom, where he earned his master's degree in public health. 

Dr. Ojimba was chief resident during his residency training at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. He received his addiction psychiatry fellowship training from Montefiore, the University Hospital of Albert Einstein College of Medicine, in the Bronx, New York. 

Dr. Ojimba specializes in addiction and public health. He treats the adult and geriatric population for various mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, eating disorders, substance use disorders (alcohol use disorder, opioid use disorder, stimulant use disorder), and compulsive gambling.
